Abstract

Present Paper deals with 20 taxa of Trentepoholia which includes 23 species 21 genera and 4 varieties. Of these Trentepoholia iolithus Walroth, Trentepoholiadia leptaHariot, Trentepoholia aurea Martius, Trentepoholia arborum Agardh and Trentepoholia umbrina Bornet are first time reported from Purvanchal and bordering area of Bihar, They constitute new record for the area.
