Abstract

Herbal  remedies  have  attained  much  more  popularity  in  the  treatment  of  minor  ailments  due  to  increasing awareness  of  personal  health  maintenance   through  natural  products.  Indeed  the  market  and  public  demand has  been  so  great  that  there  is  extin ction  ri sk  to  many  medic inal  plants  and  obviousl y  the  loss  of  ge netic diversity  demanding  immediate  innervations  for  conse rvation.  The  prese nt  investigation  h as  bee n  done  in Bhandara  of  Vidarbha  region  of Maharashtra  state.  The  paper  includes  important  medicinal  plant,  which  is un der  endangere d  and  thre ate ned  categorie s.  It  also  in clu de  survey,  conse rvation,  c ultivation  along  with their  utilization  with  respect  to  e conomic,  ethanobotani cal  and  eth anome dicin al  properti es.
